Steps for Converting a Portable to Central Vacuum System

STEP 1: Choose a Portable to Convert

Using an LT, DVR or DVP offers fast installation, hassle-free commissioning and minimal capital investment cost. These systems come standard with a waste disposal system.

  • Combine with primary separators and vacuum hoppers to increase waste storage
  • Intended for up to 5 simultaneous users/operators
  • Pre-built packages reduce overall engineering costs drastically
  • Vac producer dependent, tools range up to 2.0’’ ID to handle light-to-moderate clean-ups

Using a PL or an EL offers a powerful alternative. These systems come standard with built-in hopper or Supersac waste disposal.

  • System can be fully configured to be NFPA compliant with explosion venting, inlet isolation, etc.
  • Intended for up to 8 simultaneous users/operators
  • Pre-built packages reduce overall engineering costs drastically
  • Optional configurations for sound attenuation and power-alternatives

STEP 2: Connect to a Piping Network that Works

Our Vacuum Experts can help you connect your vacuum system to a piping network that never plugs.

We can:

  • Calculate, design and layout based on material characteristics, flowability and plant constraints
  • Quickly analyze your plant layout to identify key design recommendations
  • Provide a budgetary quote for a piping network that will never plug!

STEP 3: Select Your Operators' Accessories

That’s all folks!

You are good to go!
