The Effect of U.S. Tariffs on AIRPLUS Services Abroad

Dear Valued Customer:

The United States administration has recently announced the introduction or modification of tariffs affecting products imported to the U.S. from multiple trade partners; as you have no doubt heard, Canada is threatening retaliatory tariffs from products entering the country from the United States.

These tariffs along with potential retaliatory measures are likely to impact several aspects of our global supply chain. Our team is actively analyzing the potential impact on the products supplied to you, including mitigation actions or additional product cost.

AIRPLUS is a proud Canadian business. We employ Canadians, sell and service Canadian businesses, and pay
100% of our taxes in Canada. Like many Canadian companies, our business and product offering mix has traditionally relied on a portion of products fabricated in the United states, as well as from Europe, and domestically. With that stated, our relationship leadership team has secured agreements with our key manufacturers to fabricate critical portions of our product offerings either outside the United states, and in some cases, within Canada. these pivots can be made without compromise to product quality, or brand strength.

This letter provides advanced notification that AIRPLUS may be required to adjust pricing and / or lead-times to reflect the unavoidable impact of tariffs, but also to advise that AIRPLUS has taken the steps necessary to respond to the threats, should they come to fruition. We understand these developments may present challenges to your business and our respective end customers; AIRPLUS will endeavor to be transparent in communicating all issues, and offer a variety of options to address your needs.

We deeply value your partnership and remain dedicated to providing superior solutions to our clients, as air plus always has.

Please don’t hesitate to call us to discuss anything.
